FAQ
Yacht tender rental: frequently asked questions
Yacht tender rental FAQ — the questions charter guests ask us most: licence, delivery, deposit, fuel and water toys.
Booking and payment
01How do I pay?
A 30 % deposit, paid online by card or bank transfer, confirms the booking. The remaining 70 % is paid at delivery, in cash or by card.
02What if I need to cancel?
Cancel at least 30 days before the delivery date and the deposit is refunded in full; later cancellations keep the deposit as a fee for the reserved dates. Changing dates is possible, subject to availability.
Licence and skipper
01Do I need a licence to drive the tender?
Yes — any boating licence valid in Croatia, shown with a photo ID (ID card, passport or driving licence) at handover. No licence on board? Book our skipper for 120 € per day, or let your charter skipper drive the tender, by arrangement.
Delivery and collection
01When do you deliver and collect?
We deliver on Saturday, usually from 13:00 — the exact time is agreed with you — and collect on Friday; the rental runs until 18:00.
02Which marinas do you deliver to?
To the marinas around Split, Trogir and Kaštela free of charge, and to the Primošten · Rogoznica, Šibenik, Zadar and Dubrovnik areas for a flat fee added to your booking. Anywhere else on the Adriatic on request.
03My charter ends in a different marina — is that a problem?
No. We can collect the tender where your charter ends; the fee depends on the location.
04What if the weather prevents the delivery?
We deliver the tender to another location, or at a time agreed with you.
On the water
01Is fuel included?
No. The tender is delivered with a full tank and goes back full — or our staff can refuel it for you on return.
02Can I tow the tender behind a catamaran or sailboat?
Yes — that’s what it’s for. Use a floating tow line of 15–25 m (on a catamaran, a bridle from both hulls), tilt the engine up, and never tow with people on board.
03Where can I go with the tender?
We set no limits of our own — go wherever your licence and the sea conditions allow.
04What if the tender breaks down?
Call us or send a WhatsApp — we’ll be with you within 8 hours.
Deposit, insurance and damage
01Is there a security deposit?
Yes — 500 €, paid at handover in cash or by card. It is refunded when the tender and its equipment come back in the condition they were delivered.
02Is the tender insured? What if I damage it?
Basic insurance is included with every rental. If the tender is damaged, the most you pay is the 500 € security deposit.
Families and water toys
01Which water toys come with the tender?
Water skis, a wakeboard and a towable tube, at no extra charge. A SUP, a kayak or a Seabob can be added for the week.
02Do you have life jackets for children?
Yes. Every tender carries full safety equipment, and we have life jackets for children too.
